Dr Kristen MacKenzie-Shalders is an advocate for planetary health and sustainable food, health and education systems with over 20 years of management and leadership experience. She has overseen health, education and nutrition services and messaging for sport and health institutes and teams,  overseen curriculum and food service/business content for a nutrition-related university masters program, managed a nationally-funded research project and a workplace health program, and had her own private practice and consultancy business.

Dr. Kristen MacKenzie-Shalders believes in the power of collaboration for common goals. She leads and contributes to various representative committees and communities of practice, for example she has championed and chaired a sustainability committee for a university health faculty, collaborated in a national health professional food and environment group, and represented Australia in an international nutrition network. Dr Kristen MacKenzie-Shalders is an experienced educator and communicator who creates, appraises and manages the development of quality information, communication and education materials as seen  in her showcase and academic profile.
